Red face Oh blimey...

Rule 1, a thick skin needed, these are just my opinions!

The intro/splash screen - whats the point? I'm not quite sure of its purpose. I'm not a fan of them, but a lot of designers use them to do a bit of showboating, look at my front window, but I'm a little confused by yours.

To be blunt, it has the look and feel of a downloaded template that isn't quite finished

Our services | Latest news | Contact us - these look like they should be links?

Your services are buried under your welcome tab, which isn't obvious there is a drop down menu. This is your call to action, so needs to be prominent and obvious from the home page.

The services page looks a bit clinical to me, with its formal package name "WMSSU" etc. Also theres no obvious link back to the home page. I know the welcome tab links back, but surfers are lazy and associate the logo as the home button.

Speaking of a logo, you dont seem to have one, which is unusual for a designer, its another chance to show off your creative skills.

Sorry if it comes over a little harsh, but just honest constructive feedback

Your are entering an extremely competitive market, and it is survival of the fittest. There are a lot of small web designers going after the budget market, so you really need to shine.

Getting a portfolio is critical, which your trying to do, but I'd relook at your site, and think shopwindow!

No No many thanks for taking the time to have a look, i will take them comments on board and action the matter, they are templates but some of the pages are designed.
It is a hard market to master but i guess with some tweaks it could be good!!

Again, it is thick skin time buddy, but only meant to help you get it right.

Font is too small and wrong type, stick with an arial or verdana typeface.

It feels like a site 10 years ago. Flat, bland.

It is a large site with little info, a bit like a fat man with a tiny face, you need to fill all the space with info or imagery, people only click and read info and about us out of sheer habit, if the home page does not say WOW or Professional, you will lose viewers, clients and quote gatherers.

No contact form. These is a web site faux pas, oh just fund it on a different page, need all contact on the same page, except maybe phone numbers in the header.

Games? I take it you are a teenager starting for yourself in business, if so I commend you and hope you get this right buddy.

Hope this helps.

Kip

I just hope it painted the right picture for the chap who has the website, us in the web world have to look better than a client would want for themselves.

We aint ranted for a while, whats that about?

And we know you are not an easy chap to please, and rightly so, he has done you right so far, and if he didn't have a good landing or wow factor, he wouldn't have even got a phone call!
