Default Fitz2Kleen website

Hi peeps,peepettes and undecided,

My partner has spent the last few years annoying me by chopping and changing our buisness website.
I have managed to find a doctor that has medicated her and given her electric shock treatment to curb this.
It would be great if you could pop onto our web site and give your honest opinion of it,
We have paid to have one site constructed for us but to be honest I feel was a waste of time and money so Fitz2Kleen Carpet Cleaning Coventry is still the site of prefrence for me.
Thanks in advance for your comments.

Regards Mark

Off the cuff comments only, I've not spent more than a minute or two on the site.

"Before" and "after" gallery works well.

Like the FAQs section where you say what will and won't work, advising aginst your short-term interest at one point.

Noticed - with awed respect - all the calls to action.

Didn't like the appearance of the home page of the site - it seemed to lack structure and to have lots of text scattered through it, almost as if it was only half-completed. I think you could work on some of the text too.

Hope this feedback helps.

First, the good points of your site:
- the pictures are all good.
- the content is up to the mark

Now the things you need to work on your site.
- Make symmetric all of the fonts style, color used, particularly on the Home Page. The very first sight of your site gives out really a messy look.
- Instead of 'Welcome' make it 'Home'.
- Capitalize 'faqs'.
- Bold the links.

Really, can you provide a link and we can see if we agree?? Hope it didn't cost too much!!

First and foremost you may want to review what was said a few months back as some of it still applies....

Anyway, have to agree with previous 2 comments - sort out the home page - it's a mess, sorry to be blunt, but many will just go to the next site down Google to look for a better looking site (rightly or wrongly). Do you get much business through the site?

Do you think the attached screen shot looks good? Hope you do because it's on your website....

Many of your images could do with improving, e.g the banner/logo across the top is poor quality and the free bottle of stain remover image is poor too..

Hate to say it but I put in carpet cleaning coventry into Google and I would go to a competitor for a quote.. ....though you'll be pleased to know that there are other "poor quality" sites out there so you're not alone, so maybe I'd get a quote from you too.

Other pages are untidy, bullet points all over the place..

...and there's plenty more. Oh dear, all that was rather harsh (even if fair). I'll go and hide....

thanks for your comments, i have to say im totally confused.
what are you viewing it through cos it looks nothing like you say on all the various pcs i have viewed it on.
bullet points all in line, fonts match etc.
yes we get a lot of work through the website and many comments from customers regarding the look and layout of the site being the reason they called.
yeah i agree photo quality could be better etc but as stated before, im a complete novice.
how can your view of the site be so different to mine? (by that i mean fonts, alignment and so on)

Phew.. I survived. Yes appreciate you're a novice but thought wise to let you know. Websites can look different in various browsers, especially if the web coding is not compliant. This is a useful tool to check browser compatibility Check Browser Compatibility - Browsershots - the report can take a while to run sometimes but select the key browsers, ran one for you - should be ready in half hour or so.

Keep hanging in there!
