Default A baby site !

Hi guys,

I will present in few words the baby site wich I work since few weeks !
entreper.com

The driving force behind entreper.com came from 2 guys, Denis Denisenko and Chris Mundy. Both were interested in taking LinkedIn and crossing it with Facebook - but adding a whole educational element that is sorely lacking from both. Our target demographic is anyone in business who has something to share/teach or learn - who likes the business networking capabilities of LinkedIn and some of the more social/group aspects of Facebook but who also can't be bothered with fishtanks and Mafia Wars.

Peeps who are willing to upload their own educational quality conrtent in exchange for the chance to have their content viewed by more and more peeps as we grow. It's early days and we're not even finished with site functionalities at the moment but we are close enough to let peeps in for a rummage round at this point.

What do you think about it ?

Warm regards,

Pauline

Hi Pauline

It looks like a nice site, but what USP do you have that will make you stand apart from all the other business support sites?

Landing on the home page, if I didn't already know what it was about, I'd maybe scratch my head till I read your tagline "empowering entrepreneurs" (its that word again lol)

Meet - discuss learn
Everything you need to know

about what? Just thinking about the split second you've got to try and engage someone.

Looking at some of the blogs and articles, from what I can see you can't access any content unless you sign up. Even the poll requires a sign in. Me personally I like to roam round these business sites, and not particularly interested in signing up, unless it's for say a forum, or even more resources, but will for example link to them, quoting an article etc.

eg
www.startups.co.uk
www.marketingdonut.co.uk

You can access most of their content without signing up.

I'm assuming you're not a charity, so do members have to pay anything? It's not obvious, if its free, shout it from the rooftops!

As you're on a .com assume you are aiming at an international audience? So will you break you content down by geographic regions and factor in different cultures, laws etc?

Hope that helps
