Default How can I improve my Landing page?

I've been seeing that I have nearly 29% bouce rate since last 4 months of opening this website.

Can someone please give me some simple things I can do to reduce the bouce rate.

Will appreciate your help.

People say first impressions are important...my first impression is that the site feels a bit bland.

I feel the logo icon etc all doesn't work. You need capitivating stuff towards the top, latest happenings etc, and you probably need a professional who designs sites for a living looking at it.

That's my feedback.

I agree with Scootek. Logo does not work.

Also, you have a big blank white space in middle of the screen. This is valuable space - use it to communicate and sell the benefits of joining etc.

Thanks Scootek. This site was developed by a guy in India and I'm not very happy with his work to be honest. Can you tell me a good resource where I can find talented guys who do great site design? wehere should I start looking?

Also I appreciate your honest comments. I will definitely try to incorporate the feedback and make my landing page more catchy with lots of updates on fron page.

29% rate is good - a lot of people do not have anything like that.

Hi Brad, agree with Scootek, bland definitely springs to mind, but as Tomsk says, your bounce rate is pretty dam good

People obviously like what they see when they get there, so maybe poll them on ideas, features, design, styles and get an idea what kind of site your visitors want.

Quite a few decent web designers on here, why not post a tender and see what comes in?

Unfortunately you get what you pay for, I don't like to comment to much on websites, as I may have a biased view, but I am more than willing to have a chat with you Brad, and see if I can help in anyway at all.
