Default New Year - New Plan!

Hi girls and guys!

As Steve had already guessed, I have a new project about to kick off, actually glad that 2010 is gone, and can leave that and certain people behind, and focus on people that matter and family, this year is all about making an effort, so please think the same, pick up the phone, get in the car, go and see the people that you can make smile.

Anway, its in pre-launch at the minute whilst I iron out a few creases, but Leicester Murkery | Bars in Leicester | Leicester Nightclubs | Leicester Reviews is about to be born, and even has its own cheesy tutorial video attached!

YouTube - LeicesterMurkery.com Bars, Clubs & Nightclubs in Leicester

Be glad to hear your thoughts

I like the website, looks nice and professional. What's on there so far is easy to navigate, and looks good when you get down to the actual bar/club, I like the map on the side also showing you where it is.

I like the video too, only thing is the voice sounds like it's either trapped in a coke can, or a mile away...nonetheless, good work.

Cheers guys! And the less I post the more work I am getting Mark

The voiceover is an issue that really gets my goat, thats just me talking to the iMac, I need a decent mic and everytime I go where they sell them i forget all about it, have two sisters that are professional singers, and a resident DJ brother, and still do not have a decent mic lol!

Add some background music (really low) and that will eliminate the barebox sound, and add some 4:1 compression to the voice, which will raise and lower the volume of the voice to make it more even sounding.

Yeah well, I was gonna do that obviously, but it was too cold for bareboxes and the 4:1 is broken at the minute!

Jase, you know I love ya! Should have done this in Essex, in my buddies studio!

Can't take all the credit, my coding genius buddy is tweaking certain bits in there, had a few emails from WalkAbout asking where it is headed, and they went live today on what I have told them, have a stunning bird thats gonna dress up as a sexy champagne bottle to promo it in the city around the bars, then comps for free tickets and entry and stuff!

Proper excited!

looks great kip, love the thick accent on the video!
I was wondering what sort of preliminary research did you do before embarking on this?
did you have any basis for concluding local directories are worth it?
do you have any projections in terms of use and how did you come to those if you have them?
