Just really mirroring what everyone else has said - do kind of like the site though.

No problems having a story about your experience with your own product but the link said what is Biltong not click here to read my story - have a short statement explaining what it is so that those like me that love trying new foods can decide whether or not to give it a go.

You lost me way before i found out what it is & therefore i wont be investing (sounds familiar lol)

I agree with the stuff you have been advised on so far but wanted to through in a bit of advice regarding the selling points.

1) Your homepage needs to be a mix of copy and products. I am assuming the aim of the site is to sell your products so make sure they are in the customers view.
2) You are wasting massive selling space on all your pages with the big image you have at the top. I am not seeing any products above the fold on my screen.
3) Navigation! - don't make your potential customers have to think about where they need to go. Think about adding breadcrumb navigation eg: our shop>mixed pepper biltong.
4) The navigation to your product categories also needs enhancing. It's lost and 2 far down the page.

The website needs to flow better, you are making the user think too much about where they need to go. Remember, the more potential customers need to click around your site to get to where they want to be and where you want them to be, the more you will lose along the way. Lost customers equals lost revenue

I like the feel of the site, Bright and vibrant just like the food you provide I presume?

I would like to see the South African flag or background somewhere to really hit home to me that this is South African food at its best.
Just a thought

I don't like the top half of your website...it seems a bit boring to me. The bottom half is nice and colourful.

I am looking at it from a 12" laptop and I only when I land it's hard to work out that it's a food site, especially when home page title is not clear.

I am not sure about your site. I can't pin point it, but something feels not right to me. Most of the other guys seem to like it, so it will probably appeal to most.

I see South Africa and I suppose SA food as colourful, this feels a bit bland!

I am assuming you are targeting Safa's living in UK and Europe, if so you have a good and growing market. Good luck.

The images in the eyeline are a bit dark and at first glance the home page one looks like pieces of charcoal rather than meat. The others could be better.

The rest of the site looks very much template like. I think you would benefit from a design makeover.

I also selected the burger option from the home page and got the Error: Sorry, but the Product you've requested wasn't found! It would be better to say out of stock so at least the search engines can find what you offer even if its out of stock.

I would advise to start again before you do too much SEO.
