Default takes a deep breath.... does this look better ?

we've had some extremely useful honest feedback on our previous web site designs along the lines of

"don't know what you are selling"

"visually unappealing"

"logo looks awful"

"no marketing thought has gone into this"

so............ does this look better ?

Contact Management Software, Invoicing Software, CRM Software, Quotes and Billing

all feedback greatfully received.

thanks

Tom

Much better than before.

As Steve says, watch your title tags.

Only other think I would comment on is a bit of a missed opportuity on you. On your product page you have links to a free download only. Surely your business objective is to get people to purchase?

Add a "buy now" call to action or at the very least a link to the purchase page

A massive improvement, well done I hope it generates sales for you.

Well done for taking the if at times harsh criticism and implementing them.
I have presented my sites on here before and you have to have some seriously thick skin.

Yeah, big improvement there, just a couple of points:

-I dont like those ticks
-The pink box and blue text looks drab and doesnt compliment anything
-too texty as you scroll down
-the testimonials are missing quote marks e.g. "extremely happy with it" as -currently it looks like a title with no leading caps
-the colour scheme is better, but too bland acros the page - all blues and greys
-the image of the product is a bit repetitive across every page especially as it sits in the same place, it would be easy to confuse which page you were on as not much above the fold seems to change.
-take a look at this Simple Accounting Software - Solar Accounts - you want an image that equals a product worth a £100 licence and although you have made good improvements, its still needs a bit more TLC to stand out, moreso because you must surely be competing with a lot of other crm software systems.

thanks for all the comments everyone. it's been a fantastic help in turning our web site around from "visually unappealing" to "I like it"

we've added some green as it was looking a bit too blue/grey. also changed the images on each of the top pages to add some marketing words and a small pic to illustrate each point. changed the ticks, changed the prices image and products title. removed the orange header and added quotes around the testimonials.

the hardest part is actually knowing that your web site looks awful and I recommend everyone to be brave and get their web sites reviewed here. if you get a great review, then fine. but if you don't, then it's a fantastic opportunity to improve your web site and increase sales when people start to look around your web site instead of instantly clicking Back

Tom

Tom!

I am always a tad critical on design, probably more than I should be, and I like it! VAST, VAST improvement!

Good man!

Yay, miles better" And see, only a few small amends can make the biggest difference. You see, its important because when eyes land on the site they are natirually drawn around the page and need to be able to navigate the page by layout and colour helps with this. Helps to separate.

PS those same ticks are in the top blue banner, so i'd change them to match the new ticks
