Default Phew, here goes...

okdokey, get those tissues at the ready...

I'm guessing this is quite a niche market and any customers already have a good idea of what you do or are actively looking to purchase, but I'm looking at it from a random visitor perspective that arrives on the site.

Can see you used Yahoo site builder, and afraid it has a template feel about it.

Images on the homepage are a little blurry and the images on the right are too small to be useful. Assume these are examples of your product?

As a potential customer, I would assume these would open up into big pictures when I clicked my mouse on them.

I couldn't find any decent screenshots of the product anywhere on the site. I can see the demo sign up page, but felt there wasn't any compelling call to action to get me to sign up for a demo. Obviously you know your own coversion rates, so if they are ok, then don't listen to me or change anything!

Not a fan personally of stock images like in the header. Assume thats your goodself on the "about us" page, real pics give an air of trustworthyness (is that a word?) and honesty.

Hopefully been constructive and not too harsh

This is never easy!

Telling someone that something needs working on is never easy, as it looks like I am fishing for the job, so waited until someone else had posted (thanks Steve).

You obviously have a great product, you are not selling magic beans, that's for sure, and as you stated you are a web building veteran, but I think the guns have been updated a fair bit since you hammered the last one out.

Although site building as a rule has not changed dramatically over the years, the rules behind the pages have, there are more options to add the little bits that make a difference, like Steve mentioned, a larger pic after a thumbnail click. Simple but effective.

Things to remember:

Call to Action needs to be strong (Ever heard of a suggestive nod?)
People like to be wowed by Imagery and then functionality, in that order.
Think of the first 7-10 seconds that a client views your webpage.
Medical sites need to be clinical and white like the environments

Things that are right:

Smiling doctor Smiles equal sales!
Good content Key Area in todays engines
Contact Form info Although hard to navigate options

You have the foundations for a great little site here, and any help needed is here in spades, you strike me as a thoroughly decent person, and on that note, I really hope I have helped and not hindered.

Keep on keeping on!

Default Happy Turkey Day to all!!

Thanks Steve and Kip for your constructive criticisms. I really appreciate them. Yes, the web designing art has changed drastically when I first dabbled with it, years ago. My initial page, back then, took about a month to complete, but it brought a satisfaction joy when it was finally done/published. Few months ago was the first time I had to build a site many years after my first one, I was surprised at how many site builder applications out there. Drag and Drop, as they call it. Being rusty and also a bit lazy, I used one of those builder applications for fast result. Steve saw it right away Yes, and I agree with Steve and Kip both on a larger image after the thumbnail click. "Fishing for a job.."...lol...Kip, you are funny Well, got to glue my nose firmly on the drawing board. Thanks again, guys!!!

A bit of due diligence will get what you want in the end TrangSle, both of us that have commented so far had to get our heads together to finish, and even edit the final a couple of weeks later, of the new Lowi site, I confess to needing to spend a bit mre time on the websites back end, I am a designer, so I can make things look awesome, but its the backend I miss sometimes, and it is just as important!

Stick at it, stay away from drag and drops lol! Although it is how I started, so I cannot slate it too much!

Good to see constructive criticism and points taken onboard. Seen it too many times on differnet boards where people start getting mean and personal.

Ever tried posting on digital point?

Look forward to seeing the revamped medilutions

I hear you, Kip. In my line of work, I also have to be careful when I talk to a doctor or an office manager to make sure I don't come accross as pushing my products on them, just thoughts.

I have never tried Dsigital Point, Biz. What is it about? I'll take a look.

TrangSLe

How is the site working out for you? are you tracking how many people are visiting, have you asked your customers if they have found it helpful to them?

I think with a few basic changes and updates you could have a good brochure website that would add value to your business.

Tomsk, customers that I used to work with have told me that the site is not the most attractive site, but has enough info for the traffic. They also advised on a few things that I can do to improve traffic, from a customer's point of view, which I am grateful for. How is your site working for you?
