Default is this sexy ?

we had some extremely useful honest feedback on our last web site design along the lines of

"don't know what you are selling"

"visually unappealing - I wouldn't be interested in whatever it is you are selling"

"logo looks awful"

"no marketing thought has gone into this"

...so before we go too far with our new design, does this rough draft low-res screenshot fix some of the above ?

still working on the exact text to use but does it look better, do you know what we are selling and would you stay on the site long enough to read any of the text ?

http://www.amphis-software.com/new-web-design.gif

all feedback greatfully received.

(we've sneaked a few things from the new design into the current design as an emergency fix)

NOTE: PLEASE DON'T CLICK ON THE LINK AT THE BOTTOM - THAT'S NOT THE NEW DESIGN

thanks

Tom

No appeal for me at all and wouldn't even consider it if it was free simply because the quality of the website would indicate to me the quality of the CRM software.

still a DIY logo
visually unappealing
boring text layout
no impact
nothing grabs my attention
looks like a novice has knocked it up (hope you haven't paid for this)
the image is meaningless
The colour scheme is drab and isnt an improvement on the previous one

sorry

The orange colour hurts - need my

Also I am a big fan of graphics and ticks have all that text further down and tell me with graphics and tick boxes what it can do.

A saw a site this week Parcel Monkey

Take a quick look and their site and tell me what they do - then count the amount of blocks of text they use to convey that message.
