Default TWS website

We launched our new website a few months ago and I am scheduled to have a meeting with the powers that be and our developer at the end of the month. Feedback from existing customers has been pretty positive so far but I am just wanting to know if there are any minor alterations or improvements required? I say minor as I know I wont be too popular asking for a major overhaul

Total Web Solutions new website

Thanks,

Simon

"You can ask for anything so long as you are prepared to pay for it", is what they will usually say!

People always say to me "can you just do this, add that, and make it do the other" and I say of course we can....but it will cost you more.

I would say just define those main boxes a bit more. They are all equally a little bland for me to differentiate between them in landing. Also the p.m. is a bit uncommon to be seen displayed that way, normally it would be much clearer such as £3.99/month.

Also make your prices stand out more. Again they look bland and 'unpromoted'

Try something like:

from £3.99/month

Add a little more of your logo red into the mix so that your brand theme runs through the design. Currently it's just the orang and a lot of grey and grey can be quite bland if there is too much of it.

There's also quite a few css/html errors if you are fussed about validation but not everyone is. Depends what you asked them to do/standards to meet.

Yes I like the site, but would mirror Indizine's feedback above.. I like the simple usability and speed of the site, tect Vs graphic content it blended well so gives enough information with enough images to focus the eye and get people looking deeper.

Looks like you have a similar approach to bundling services as we do and there is a big market for this for small businesses.

I'm going to be shameless here and say there are some services we provide "white label" that would compliment what's on there that would improve your offering. Take a look at our site and PM me if you want more info.

OOh, also we are looking for a good ISP to work with to offer Business broadband as part of our business bundles..!

Hiya Simon

Ahh thats cheating! You can't ask for a website review then steer us with "everyone thinks its great" and we dont want any major changes Thats just asking for trouble

Site looks ok, does the job, obvious what it is etc. But I was surprised when you said it was a new site, to me it has a feel of an early to mid 00's.

You're in a massively competitive market, and most of the hosting sites you see seem to look very similar, I'd be tempted to try and stand out.

Although they tend to get slated, I do like the new site from UK2.net which seems to break the mould a bit, and is a bit more web 2.0

Obviously just my tinpot opinion

..so it's only me that finds the scrolling logos across the bottom distracting and irrelevant?

Other than that, like Steve says it's like many of the other hosting sites around. Though I'm not a fan of his suggestion of UK2.net either... ..but hey, it'd be a boring world if we all liked the same thing!
