Another redesign

the site itself does the job, I was a little confused to what you actually do at first but I just missed where it says pet portrait commisions hehe

Personally, the design isn't to my taste, I can't speak for your customers but yeah I just found the colours and the layout a bit old fashioned, unless ofcourse that is what you were aiming for, in that case.. good job

that's about all really, goodluck with the business, you're a very talented artist, myself I draw for a hobby but you have something special there

I'd remove most of the grey from the banner - the cat and text etc looks great but all the grey around it seems strange and takes up a lot of space. you could lose about 3cm from the top and some off the bottom and it would look much better.

would prefer a white background instead of the pattern, makes it look a bit dated.

portraits look fantastic.

I would start your page titles with "Pet Portraits" for better SEO as presumably that's what people looking for your services might enter into google.

Like:
* Cat & the paw logo.
* You were brave enough to have a go

Dislike:
* The colours, too dull for me (it might be just me)
* The wallpaper background

I think you could do a lot better. I am assuming you are a small business. I would like to see more of your art on the homepage. I could easily mistake it for a cat or a dog site.

What size are those images? They took a long time to appear (quite a few seconds).

Pet websites really need to be in pet-related colours. People often associate pets with earthy colours, so greens & browns would be my line of design. We've done 2 dog-related sites. I wont take advantage of link dropping so PM me and I will send you the email links to view, just to give you an idea on colours if it will help.
