i wonder how many people realise that if you move house there is a great chance that your furniture will have a few visitors more than it did when the lorry was packed. this is because a lot of furniture (nay most) have insects of one type or another in the fabric, and when the lorry moves along our very smooth (not) roads the insects often become dislodged and hide in the corners of the cargoe area. when a new load is added they hop on board.
Its the same as public transport, it is reckoned that you will certainly encounter at least 1 undesirable insect on your journey, Most of the time they go unnoticed but the bedbugs, fleas and cockroaches are normally found after they have reproduced and increased in numbers. we treat these problems but most transport companies do not cater for this type of treatments within their cleaning programme

I watched a television programme the other day, something to do with undertakers I think, it stated that over an average human lifespan we consume around 2lb of bugs...

Bugs are with us forever, be aware of them and theres nowt to worry about, the point being with all pest controllers is that we have to deal with peoples fear, there are a lot of pesties that play upon that fear and overcharge by a long way.
we try to educate people in the first instance so that they can clear the problem with general housekeeping, before they call us in, we advertise all of our prices on our web site so that we know if our customers view our fixed price structure and they are quoted higher from elsewhere, they can if they wish query the difference.

we do not aim to scare people just tell it as it is.

Really it is no different to other trades telling people that they can offer a better service at a reasonable cost.

just added a video section at the end of our website and one of the videos has to be watched to believe it, it is about a mouse hiding its cache, it carries pegs that are equal to its own length and drops them over its food in another jar.
it is really intersting watching how creatures work when not watched or so they think.

i see Burton council are considering closing the pest control dept, they say that the private sector are offering a well priced service. they were dearer than us on most jobs anyway.
Could give us even more work next year seeing as we have frozen our prices for another year and advertised them on our websitewe need more work
