When could 50p lose you business?
When you don't answer every call that comes into your business! It's a known fact that if you don't answer your business phone then a potential new customer will simply hang up and move on to the next company. Why Use Call Answering? Put your phone(s) on divert all the time (we answer Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm excluding Bank Holidays) or just as and when you need to, for example, when you are in a meeting, line busy, no signal (mobile) on a course, on another line, busy with a client or need to get some work done and not be interrupted, off sick, on holiday, kids at home, or you just can't get to the phone in time! Whatever the reason you can't answer your business phone, there's simply no need to miss those calls again. Consider the value - £10 a month just to divert your missed calls is a value in itself, and you can put all of your phones on divert, not just one of them. How Does it Work? Your own phone will give you the ability and options for putting on the divert. Just select the option you need, enter the number we give you (you can choose the dialling code, which is a regular land line code) and you're done! We give you a dedicated geographic number you can use either just as the divert number, or even as your main office contact number. This is perfect if you don't want to pay for a separate BT line to be installed. Are unsolicited/cold calls counted as a call answered? Not if you register with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS or Corporate TPS if your are a Limited Company). We can do the registration for you as part of the service set up, at no extra charge. It's free to register and only takes a couple of minutes to complete online. Once registered, this will considerably cut down the number of cold calls we receive on your behalf and will also enable us to inform those callers to remove your number from their list and not to call again. If you choose not to register with the TPS then unsolicited/cold calls will be included and charged for. We don't charge for wrong numbers, those that are terminated upon answering and silent calls. Who Pays for the Cost of the Call being Diverted? You do. This is completely normal and is the case for all call diverting. No matter who or where you divert your calls to, you will always pay for that call and be billed by your own phone provider. Your own phone is actually accepting the incoming call and then diverting it to us and we receive it as an incoming call, therefore you are paying for the call duration. The call duration is usually around 1-2 minutes in most cases for an average call, including taking a message. Not all callers leave a message, but most do. We then email you the details of that message. We can also text or call you with the message details - please ask for details if you require this.
