Twitter launches Brand Pages - yet another FB fan page?

Looks like Twitter is reacting to recent changes with FB and Google+ and is piloting brand pages with 21 companies.

So that will yet another business page we have to create, monitor or leave to wither and die...

As Twitter becomes more Facebook like, Facebook is becoming more Twitter like.

I believe in the long run, this will benefit Google+ immensely!

Heard about this last week. Yep another page. What are people who already use their twitter for business going to do if they decide to get a Branded twitter page as well? Wouldn't really want to be received the same tweets from same company from 2 different twitter accounts.

Would be nice if you got the option to verify that you are a business so that you can upgrade to a branded page so there is no need to create a separate account.

agree, does seem a logical way to do it.

I agree too, it would seem like my current twitter account would be put to waste if I scrapped it to open a new business page.
