Twitter Advertising

As some of you may or not know Twitter back in May last year introduced paid ads on there site this included special tweets, trends and various promotion tools on your account but allot of this service didn’t take off and now they are looking to bring this back in 2011.

The service is designed to help small companies make the most of twitter and the social networking services it has to offer.

So what do people think? Would you buy advertising on twitter?

Hmm it was only a matter of time. They need to monetize twitter to generate a return for all that investment money.

Going to be a fineline though, and I wonder if Twitters peak has passed, as prob 80% of tweets now are automated, and bots aren't really bothered by ads

Or is the start of a re-invention as the business model matures...
