Us Britons dont really love queuing

They say we are only prepared to wait just six and a half minutes before tempers start flaring!

I am guilty of this, I have no patience for waiting around and queuing. Are you?

Queuing does seem to be built into the British genetic code, but as we all get busier, time gets ever more valuable, and we get grumpier when we are standing still.

Plus dam automated telephone answering systems, and their ever growing list of options to choose from, just so they can make a few more quid out of us, so when you finally talk to a human, your blood pressure is already at danger point

Having now shopped at the local Asda's for the last 5 years, I've got quite use to queuing. I tend to while away the time people watching and counting the different languages being spoken, I use to love listening to one sided conversations, now I have no idea what half the conversations are about. What I really look forward to though, is the person who is only buying one item, who thinks that this gives them the right to jump to the front of the line. I tend to always object, and tend to get comments like " your just like that Victor Meldrew" lol
