Default Cuddle workshop

BBC News - Londoners offered workshops on hugging to beat stress

£24 for a cuddle. I've obviously been undercharging!

You Londoners...

"Participants pay up to £24 each to hug complete strangers." Do you think this is phase one of the new Govt initiative to legalise prostitution?

Even Witney's at it now on Eastenders...

The guy who runs the workshops is called James Lockley and I think I used to work with him. To be honest I want to applaud - regardless of whether you believe it works or not, extracting £24 per head for a materials-free workshop like that is pretty good going.

Although if it is the same guy, he probably believes everything he says.

I would, but I'd have to use words like "community" and "health" and "union" and "volunteering" and "social enterprise" so often that poor Steve would have an aneurysm.

Good heavens! I agree that a good hug is worth a lot, but how much depends on the hugee and unless the stranger is a really huggable one - which I doubt - I'd rather have that 2 dozen cupcakes!
