An old thread revitalized, digital recycling
 Looking at mrb's original point though brought me back out in a sweat: Quote:
 It was planned to be retired next year for something new and shiny, but didn't want to stretch to that this year, so what do you do? Guessing the trade in value will be about £2k, as it's a high mileage gas guzzler, and after the repairs, hopefully should have another 12 months trouble free motoring... May keep it in service a bit longer till the doors fall off just so I feel I've got my moneys worth

As an update, it is only 15 months later,
 I went ahead with the repairs, and it's been fine ever since! Hoping it stays that way...
