Default Buzz Lightyear!

I have an original 8" Buzz Lightyear Talking Action Figure from 1995 which is boxed and has only been opened once (back in 1995) to check everything was ok. Remarkably the original batteries still work even though a sticker on the box suggests they are for 'demo purposes only' and would need replacing after a short time!!

I am thinking of selling it to get some quick cash for a lads weekend and wondered where best to do it? eBay is my obvious thought but wondered if anyone here knew of a better place for collectible toys??

Thanks,

Simon

Default To Infinity and beyond!!!

Just checked the date, its not April

Well, you can get one without the box on ebay for £25

So with the box double it???

Been on some lads weekends in my time, never had to sell my toys to fund them though

Have stuck it on eBay so will see what it fetches... I have some other more collectible toys which I am keeping hold of... including another Buzz which I have never opened

Steve, it isn't to fund the weekend... just to add some cash to it...

Smuggle a bottle of whiskey down your trousers, and buy cokes from the bar, save a fortune. I used to be alright till about the 5th one, then the barman normally rumbled me when I started slurring and I get thrown out.

hmm on seconds thoughts...

Steve - no need for down the trousers these days with big pocket jeans

Reminds me of the great 'water in to vodka using a hair dryer' trick that we use when going to the Download festival each year. You are only allowed one 500ml bottle of water into the arena and it must be sealed so you use the hair dryer to heat up the bottle top and then ease up the top with a knife, seal completely attached. Then empty the water, replace with vodka and screw the lid back on. Works every time.

Drinking straight vodka whilst watching AC/DC - can't beat it

Well the Buzz Lightyear figure is on eBay with bidding at £31 with 2 days 1hr left. 8 bids and 13 watchers so it could make £40-£45 at this rate...
