I remember this day very very well! What a nightmare day/night it was for the Yorkshire region! The office where I worked was on top of one of Sheffield's hills........not a chance of getting off by car. It was walk and wade or............

...........stay in the office all night! Which is exactly what I had to do!  Unluckily for me, I'd had a knee op 5 weeks previous to the mighty floods so there wasn't a cat in hells chance of me making it home! Was just so pleased my child had gone to my parents for tea or I have no idea what I would have done! 
At least with working from home now, I'll never have the same problem again.
