Default Come On England!

...apologies to those in the USA!

Ten seconds to go to when England start the journey to the World Cup Final.

YouTube - 'Bring It Back to Blighty' - World Cup Song 2010

..and if you want to help charity then, support the underdog for the World Cup Song YouTube - Billy Franks - The Beautiful Game - all proceeds to charity (www.sentebale.org) founded by Prince Harry. Go on, only 79p from iTunes or £2.99 for the CD from HMV

hi..
actually I'm England fan. I think Heskey is superb but the finishing point is weak that's why England could not add the score. So I hope this problem will be solved. There's no point to control the game if we could not score the goal.

En-GER-land, surely?

I think I gave up all hope when I went onto the *wedding* section of a *knitting* forum I belong to... and the ladies were all talking about the football.

See old Steve would have been larging it in the pub, soaking up the atmosphere, and dreaming of a kebab and chips...

Instead I was tutting about the noisy gits over the road, as I didn't want them waking up the little one. Hmmm middle age... time to go and build a shed...

LOL!! I remember when i was front row in the pub with my England shirt on!! Now i'm running around after the little boys, trying to explain why they can't stay up to watch the late night matches, and trying to explain why they shouldn't keep blowing their VuVuZela their Grandparents were so kind to bring over as a present from South Africa!!

I must confess my heart isn't in it this time round. Even the constant anthems on the Radio are starting to bug me, instead of fill me with English Pride like they did in ears gone by!!

Your right! I don't even feel the slightest bit inclined to adorn my car with a tacky plastic flag which you know will fall off.

sigh, we have become grumpy old farts... evolution I suppose. Let the new generation of drunken idiots carry our mantle forward

Don't give up hope!

Remember '66? No I don't either but keep being told we only drew the first game back then, so logic states that we'll win the World Cup.

I like my logic so don't spoil my illusion and question it.

Too true, quite often i see the youths going things we used to do, often knowing it will only end in tears!! For example seeing them in Tesco's buying copious amounts of Alcohol, girls dressed with very little on, i hear myself saying "she'll catch her death in that" I often despair at the boy racers with their stereo's on full pelt, destroying their poor ear drums, knowing they'll regret that when they're older!!

Man i need to go out and have some fun, remember what it was like when i was young (not that long ago either)
