Turns out this is a new form of spam. In this case, he was trying to redirect traffic to a Groupon listing.

Spammers are trying to hide links by trying to add image code

The link you added also had this on the same forum, which explains it better:

If you copy/paste the link from that image, it redirects to an image at cuoda.n e t. which on further examination seems to be a free web game site. Not sure how that links to groupon though.

Yup its all a bit sneaky. It looks like the ukou.info/g.php just redirects to a blank page now at cuoda.net/11.gif

An example of one that is still working, do8.me/ms.jpg which is a redirect to a forex site.

So I'm now doing a quick edit post of any suspicious or new posters, to see if they have tried to add a hidden link, in which case its a simple delete account
