Default Not had a rant in a while so .....

Just need to get something off my chest.

Im moving house for the 5th time in 5years - its a long story but i ended back where i started from 5 years ago but its now time to move out.

Usual battle with estate agents etc but sale was agreed a while back - contacted my solicitior about 10 days ago to ask how things where going, he would call me back. Anyway no reply so took my sons off to sunny Wales for a along weekend last week, got back to 6 missed calls on the office line (no calls to my mobile though?) we are moving 23/4 - oh yea right i said.

Turns out in my abscence and no reply from his 3 calls my solicitor took it upon himslf to agree to the move date - managed to eek it out a bit to Wednesday next week but what an idiot!

If we dont move next week the deal is off as chap at the bottom of ladder has given notice on his rented place and is homeless effective 28/4

Im mucho stressed !!!!!!! arrrrrggggghhhhh

damn not good dude.
I have the same problem about 10yrs ago when the solictor could not be ****d to contact me on my moby so he took a 4k lower offer on my house.

I came back and had to pull out of the chain luckily for everyone involved the buyer upped there offer by 2k and the builder I was buying from dropped his by 2k so the sale still went ahead.

but I could not Adam and Eve it.

Thanks Trena - hope your move goes smoothly - such stressfull times - the last thing you need is more stress from a so called professional dropping huge b******s in the middle of it all - im really cheesed off! Im hoping for a better luck when i eventually find a house in a couple of months

Anyway quick update - had an email late yesterday afternoon - they have agreed to drop their fee for the sale, so a bit of a result.

Did someone mention BBQ & beer???? - count me in
