So is it a foregone conclusion, will we see the end of Labours reign, as the US moved into a new liberal era?
Or will Gordon Brown manage to hang in there? Maybe it could be worse and we end up with a hung parliment? For my money, I've yet to be convinced by current Tory policies, but think Labour has run out of steam post Tony, so I think the Tories will be heading the next Goverment. Whats anyone elses verdict?

Oh my word - Steves put a controversial post up here!
![]() Ive always been a bit Blue personally but have to admit through gritted teeth I actually thought Tony did a good job at first but things seemed to have gone downhill a bit with Mr Brown at number 10. Im still sat on the fence though as im not sure if the Tories have enough strong characters in their current Party to pull off an outright win. That being said with the expenses row still ringing in everyone’s ears, and my own MP (Ms Jackie Smith) in the thick of it im not sure if she will survive another term, not saying the blue corner didn’t have its fair share of problems in this but the reds certainly seemed to have lost that round. But I suppose until I can be bothered to attend a Polling Booth I better shut up

I would have Maggie back at the drop of a hat, the best men that have ever run this island were women, Queen Elizabeth and Maggie!
I do think we will see the Tories back in on this one, and although never been a Tory fan, I think they are likely to take a flagging country and bring it back up to some extent, the best thing about having a back seat is that you can see things a lot clearer than those in the front seat, its just down to how long will they last, and will they totally mess things up in their wake, or actually pull it back to where it should be! |

I am not a die hard fan of any of the partys but my beef with labour is the fact that they are meant to be a socialist party.
so you tell me what is socialist about high house prices, postcode lottery for schools, perscribed medication lottery and being part of the european union. The second biggest communist regim on the planet. The list for me goes on and on. Torys dont try to be socialist they are jammed full of the old boys club so at least we know we are dealing with a bunch of cads and cant deal with them accordingly. I will always stick by my opinion Brown and co are just Torys in labour overcoats. and that fact that none uf us voted the ( insert copious amounts of expletives here) into power. Grrrrrrrr Rantometer is off the scale again. |
