No Salt & now potholes!
Was reading this article earlier -Why is snow so bad for potholes - see the full arfticle here BBC News - Why is snow so bad for potholes?
Having read for the past few days we are running out of salt & grit seems we have something else to worry about. Must admit driving around the roads in my local area I have hit several large & many more smaller potholes.
With reading another article about people complaining their roads aren’t being gritted wonder how long it will take for them to realise that their road has disintegrated underneath them.
Ok I accept the Councils may have brought in more salt and grit, are they too blame though for the state of the roads due to potholes appearing as we slowly thaw out?
