Snail Mail
Not really a rant more a case of surprise.
Open some post yesterday, it was a returned receipt i sent out 4 years ago - ive heard things had slowed down in Royal Mail but 4 years to return a piece of post? Anyone got any similar stories they want to share?

How about bags of letters being found in a posties loft. He had been taking the odd bag home and not delivering it because he was a lazy
 He did not steal anything, just left them there. They were found after a problem with his electric meant a leccy went up the loft to look around. The RM sent out all the letters that were still in a decent condition, some of them were 5 years old.... loads of cheques that were out of date!! and some people got birthday money that was no longer in circulation. //happened in my home town, I knew the postie

My Mum still moans about the Xmas cake she made for me in 1988 and cost a fortune to post when I was stationed in Ascension Island.
Never did get it
