Unfortunately historical accuracy has very little bearing on PR.

It's entirely historically accurate, for instance, to say that a certain large US computer firm (and/or their subsidiaries) made Hollerith punch-card machines for the Third Reich. But if you want to be friends with that large computer firm, it's probably best not to mention that.

Loving the history lesson here. I did 2nd World war at GCSE (looong time ago) and covered the USSR bit but had forgotten all about it in my partriotic, little britain loving mind lol.
