Haha Stavros, what a bizarre day, I have used a pad as a mouse mat for years (or the table top) today i go looking for a mouse mat (to no avail) then get an email offering me a Cup, Coaster and Mousemat of my own design! Sent then off and will be done on Mon-Tuesday, so will be sticking them and all the other stuff this guy does on my new eshop, and now your asking! I think there is some weird mediums about today

But in answer to your question, people love getting these things, and much more affordable keeping a customer than trying to get new ones!

A few carefully placed mouse mats, pens etc, will pay great dividends in the end, branding is everything!

Now off to finish some .eps for someone elses new branding!

Hi Stavros, yep tried loads, pens, mouse mats, umbrellas, baseball caps, polo shirts, whistles, stickers.

Had loads done for big tradeshows, but in all honesty, couldn't trace any sales back to it. A lot of the stuff we still have and use internally, or can be reused as props for events, things like Baseball caps, umbrellas etc.

Still have 2 boxes of pens left from a 2006 Tradeshow event

If you go down this road, work out what you think you need, then divide in half!! Bet you will still have too much

Just had some bits made up, only one offs for myself, but looking at adding promo stuff to the new eshop i am building, but take what Steve said on board, I think they are a bit like flyers, they are there for brand awareness only, not so much deal makers, good quality and affordability always win out with work and sales, but there will always be the designer in me that says buy promo things!

I like shiny things!

Can anyone recommend a supplier of 'things to give away/sell cheaply' at fairs? I'm thinking of things like mugs, key rings, coasters. I just want to put some of my artwork on there with my website address. I signed up to Zazzle, but they're very expensive.

Thanks

mugs/keyrings/ coasters / mousemats/ t/shirt sinfact anything that can be printed on promotional gifts and personalised to your own requirements.
Wall clocks are a very good seller and no need to buy 100's we supply quantites from as little as 5 items. Also CD clocks are a good
give away to that special customer.

Because we have a 10 post rule to cut down on spam and self promotion. Once you have made 10 worthwhile posts, then you will have full access to all the forums.

Glad to have you with us, but please no constant self promotion in every post! When you have 10 posts, you can do a self promo in the village market.
