Are you finding that you get business from Twitter, Facebook etc. I suppose you will given that you are in the web business. However, I wonder if it will help an IT Support Company like us concentrating in the London area.

Yeah, you will have a good chance... I got passed a referal today for some debt collection work. It may or may not turn into business (waiting to hear) but if a business that nobody likes to mention can get a mention you got every chance.

(Kip, thanks again for the swift follow up on that one this morning )

Woohoo! And everyone is connecting and gaining new buddies, without a fram or mafia game in site!

If you think like that no point trying anything lol!

Do or Do Not! There is no try!

2 guys that had never met before were talking in an airport lounge one day, neither mentioned business, their plane was delayed, the talked a bit longer, when they left the lounge they swapped business cards, one was CEO of McVities, the other owned a tiny packaging company in Leicester (only supplied Leicester local kebab shops etc) within a year, he had a huge plant and was supplying McVities packaging. Social Media? I think so.

Don't ever think something is not worth it, else you have already lost, you have to give everything your all, this is why it works for me, not because of my industry, but because I sink my heart and soul into everything I do!

Kip, I agree with you. You may have misunderstood me a little bit. We have been using Twitter, Facebook etc from early on. Some of my best contacts have been made via forums. Most of our business comes through natural search results. Luckily we come page one for a lot of our desired keywords. I was just pondering the thought that could Twitter get us IT Support Contracts. I know MySpace is used very effectively by the music idustry targeting teenagers. However, no everybody else has had great success with MySpace!
