Default Try AdWords again by March 15th - Get new tips and £100 in free advertising

Ok - so I've been "given" £100 to spend on adwords to go on top of the £25 I've never used.

Any tips - within the next few days to beat the deadline when they take it away!!

Cheers

Have you got yourself set up yet on adwords? Have you used it before?

Step 1, create your first campaign. £100 to spend on testing and learning is fantastic.

Maybe set your daily spend to £10, tweak and play with it each day, then pause your campaign after 10 days and review all your results!

Hardest thing with adwords is finding those all important keywords that will convert for your business.

Need to practice getting the cost down for keywords. For that, google examines your advert, and compres how relevant it is to your website/page. It now has relevancy scores to assist you.

Best way is to get cracking and play with googles money! But this is something you can definately learn yourself, be wary of anyone who offers you a managed campaign. They will want a hefty admin fee, and unless you have a big budget, its far more cost effective to manage it yourself.

Have fun and let us know how your getting on, or any particular problems you have

Yes, No. Looked at it but never proceeded any further. Cheers for advice Steve will look into.

tomsk , I've been enjoying web design and SEO for nearly 10 years as a hobby and thought I'd see if I can get some extra business.

Cheers

Fantastic!! Big fan of adwords, and it just shows it doesn't take very long to get to grips with it.

Biggest mistake people make is forgetting the budget and letting it run away. Test and tweak, test and tweak. If you get no results, keep tweaking till you do!

Sounds like you've got it cracked MrB You'll soon be getting newbie adword enquires coming your way

I agree, Adwords is like a living animal and needs to be looked after and reviewed on a regular basis, we also adjust our max bid value for each word and this helps to spread our budget.
