Start Date: 4th November

Target Keyword: UK Business Forum

Current Google Position: 37 (page 4)

Hi Guys,

Just a quick update. I was actually away for the entire weekend so I was not able to post here. One of my guys has done a little bit of work on the site on both Friday 5th November and Saturday 6th November.

We have seen a biggish jump in the rankings since we started. However, it would not be uncommon for the site to drop back down again before it reaches the first page.


The site started on the 4th Page, Position 37. After 3 days, the site now sits on the 2nd page of both Google.co.uk and Google.com (we have been concentrating on mainly .co.uk) for the search term UK Business Forum.

Google.co.uk = Page 2, Position 15
Google.com = Page 2, Position 13

We will continue to work on the site and I think once a few of the on-site changes that I emailed to Steve have been made we will see another jump in rankings. However, I don't expect to see much change in the rankings for at least a few more days.

I'll post back when I notice something has changed (good or bad!!!)

Well that is a good start and quite refreshing to see an SEO company prepared to try something like this, all too often they make spurious and outrageous claims without foundation.
I notice on my Google toolbar that innocent advertising does not have a pagerank, I would be interested in their comments? Is this relative, an error, insignificant?

Hi garlex,

You are right we don't have a page rank. Our site is brand new and we have not done any SEO work on it what so ever (and I mean what so ever). We get most of our work from referrals and word of mouth. Our site is used mainly as a tool to let potential customers read up on what we do in their own time.

I would not base anything on the fact that we (or anyone else for that matter) has any page rank. I hope this thread will act as an endorsement for what we can do.

Yes you are certainly going to help your credibilty if you achieve your aims and you seem to be on the way to achieving that in quick time.

OK thanks, if you want to take a look at my website in the meantime. I have been carrying out some SEO, like writing and submitting articles which I has helped, I have a number of keywrds on the first page of Google but not ell the main ones.
