Thumbs up New SEO features for MLS UK and USA

Recently, it was brought to our attention that both UK and US Business Directories had a fundemental SEO flaw.

In our search results pages, anyone with a Lifetime Listing would show at the top above the basic listings, but for a user to get to the Listing website, they would have to select the listing, which would open up the full webpage dedicated to the business, then the user would then look on that page to find the web address.

From a search engine point of view, such as Google, on the My Local Services results pages, any keyword value would come direct to us, and not our customers.

So this has now been fixed. On the results pages now, the business name as well as a direct weblink is displayed on the results summary. This means a user can now choose to go direct to your website, or open your listing to view more information.

You also have the added advantage of gaining credit for your business name keywords, when that results page is captured by Google.

Now if that all sounds like double dutch, then it's probarbly easier to show you an example

New SEO Friendly version, with direct weblink in business name and in web address:

Old unfriendly version with no direct weblink from the results page.

So this means listing with My Local Services will enhance your own SEO efforts, and shows how we do respond and react to user and customer feedback.
