Thumbs up Good Listing Example on MLS USA

We do tend to get a lot of spammy or lazy listings on the US MLS, mainly because this one is currently a free service, so its nice to see some decent ones like this one come through.

Its a good example, plenty of text, use of keywords, with a nice big weblink at the top of the page to try and draw you to their site.

Elite Web Professionals - Georgia - Internet & Online Services

As an SEO company, this is what you would expect, but make sure if you outsource to an SEO/SEM company, that they do this for your own listings

We see far too many lazy listings, and a lions share come from low quality SEO companies, who give little thought to any real SEO value.

Hi Steve

How about a good example of a Uk listing? Just for an example for us Uk-ers
I don't think we have added one at all.

I won't be doing so soon anyway, I feel I'm just not ready to do listings for my company without making it look like a 'lazy listing'.

We can all agree no listing is better then a bad one.

Well not really, because even if you can't be bothered to spend a few minutes marketing your business, you at least get a weblink straight away, as well as your listing will stand out on our site above the freebee stuff.

You just simply lower the chance of turning a pageview into a clickthrough or a phonecall.

Heres a nice example that signed up on Monday. CWM photography

Plenty of text, maybe too much? I suspect its copied from his site which isn't so good, but it looks professional enough if you were looking for a photographer. Hopefully you would at least be enticed onto his site, and thats what it's all about, the conversion journey. After the pageview, the rest of the journey is upto the business owner

Ooh my I like the site (the lingerie section)
Seen a cheeky nipple or two on there.
No honestly I don't like the site, great photo's but black is hard to pull off.

You have a point though I do post articles and blogs, I post into directories, I try to keep everything different, yet relevant. I do consider myself quite professional really.

After that listing pageview, our work is done Upto the biz owner how they close down the sale, good copy/call to action/visual etc.
