Sidebars broken - fix it or scrap it?

After the database exploit last week, and the forced upgrade of the forum software, the sidebar on the home page has broken.

Downside, its where the "friends of MLF links are", but with it switched off, I think the forum looks cleaner.

What does anyone else think?

Find a new sidebar or leave be?

I can always add a new section on the bottom for the "friends of MLF links bit.

If I hear nothing, I'll assume no ones bothered and will leave the side bar off

Hmm.. I used to like the sidebar (though not overly concerned about the friends of MLF section) but it was good to see in an instant what the current topics were.

...however, maybe it's just what I was used to!

I must admit, I quite liked it as well.. hmm still pondering...

I don't mind it either way. Was wondering where it went to though. I don't think its a train-smash, unless some would like their links back on the front page.

To be honest i never use "friends of MLF links bit , so i agree with to move off , it is clear and very well
