Exclamation Old user accounts deleted

Time for a clean up on the forums. Not particularly interested in vanity numbers like some forums, ie we have 9,999 members...

So after contacting all the affected user accounts last week, I've just done a clean up of the database of any old user accounts.

Anyone who signed up before the 1st Dec 2010 and hasn't visited the forum in the last 12 months, I've assumed are unlikely to want to contribute, so have now been deleted.

So if you've been away for a while and suddenly find yourself unable to log in, I'm afraid you've been zapped! Just simply sign up a new account: www.mylocalforums.com/register.php

It would seem Yahoo PPC accounts have done the same, haven't used them for a couple of years now although they send a monthly statement saying how much of a deposit they are still holding. So decided to ask them for the deposit back on the off chance, the operative I spoke too said the account had been closed down 72hrs earlier and the £50 deposit was the cost for closing the account apparently it is in their terms that they will endeavor to contact account holders to return this money if however they cannot they take it upon themselves to keep the money. Well they never contacted me, all I can say to this little scam is, it's not a very good way to get customers to come back...

*runs in panting and red faced* Please don't delete me, I was busy, honest.... (faints from exhaustion).

I am really sorry that I haven't been here for a bit, but I have been really busy analyzing documents. It was fun, even though it was a lot of hard work, but I am back..... promise.

lol, fear not! If you had zero posts other than intros and hadn't been back in 12 months, then I think it's fair to say we didn't float their boat

Right now get back to work!

Then they should be shot and not deleted. Unless, of course, they want to be spoonfed, or let loose to run rampant, either of which they can keep to themselves (IMHO)

Aye Aye 'cpn (salutes and marches off)
