Help... An Odd Blue Box...

Tomsk has spotted a bizarre issue on the forum.

At the bottom of every post where the Facebook "Like" button is, instead of this, he see's a blue rectangle that says "email".

I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this as I've tried multiple browsers and different machines but can't replicate it

To prove he's not mad, Tomsk has sent a screenshot which I've added as an attachment.

Will admit to being 100% stumped, anyone else seen this or have any ideas?

Can tomsk create another temp user id to use on the forum so that we can see if he still gets the "blue rectangle" - at least that way we've narrowed down where the issue may lie...

Thing is it is not all the time - it seems to be early mornings.

I reported it to Steve a couple of weeks ago and it has happened a couple of times since.

I haven't had anything like that yet, but if I do, I will add a post here to let you know. Good luck in the meantime though. I hope you guys get to the bottom of it

Sounds like one of those opendns issues - firewalls to keep browsing safe - I have a white box where the facebook icon appears - in the same place as that blue one - because I block facebook and other social media on this PC - basically 16 year old son will sneak on to it otherwise!

I've done what Martin said and created you another account just out of interest to make sure it's not a corrupt account or anything daft, but highland spring makes a good point. Are you running any ad blockers or maybe blocked via your firewall?

Have you seen it happen on any other site with a facebook box?
eg try Lowi Limited | Online Advertising | Warwickshire and see if you can see the box there, or any other site.

No, I haven't seen any blue email button at my side, I am viewing the same facebook 'Like' button.

Used the temp login you sent and happened again, however I am pretty sure its an issue with using firefox and sites that allow you use a pluggin for facebook.

I went to another members site today that had the same facebook blue box issue.

Was bad before and have updated to firefox 5 and it still happening.

I also have firefox and a plugin for facebook but seeing no blue box at my end.
