Banners
Wondering if the banners on the forum can be rented or if they are only for Google?

To be honest, I wanted to stay away from the usual forum format of covering it in advertising and sponsor links, as well as paid members, and tiered membership levels and all that nonsense.
The forum isn't a commercial platform, ie it's primary role isn't to generate revenue. It's simply a marketing tool branded in our colours, but open to anyone and hopefully seen as useful resource, as well as a bit of fun. We've got 2 discreet adsense units which covers the forum hosting, plus a Qype (our partner - shhh leave it!) and MLS banner, and thats it. Members obviously get web links in the signature, the villlage market to peddle their wares, and if they are up for some home page linking, we can put a link on the forum front page. As our primary business is advertising, I'd have to point you over to our directory if you wanted anything more. Make sense?
