how do you find Linked In? useful for new business or a way of getting information?
I'm keen to hear your thoughts

Interesting question. We often hear its a must have for businesses, but in reality, what does it generate?

For us, looking at our web stats, we get about 30 - 40 visits a day from Linked In, and its useful as a profile to point people to who want to see a human side. But Linked In over the last 12 months has been changing quite a lot, and to me it seems to be turning into more of a job board and spammy marketing tool.

Does get annoying getting constant spammy sales messages via linked in, but suppose you can turn these off.

Haven't used it for any marketing stuff myself, maybe one for the future

It's too big to be an effective network for most businesses. I've been there seven years plus and still can't see any benefit.

Thanks for your opinions, I'm struggling to see how it brings customers as people are from vast and wide but it does give good information if you need to know the answer for something - just wish for the effort you got a conversion!
