Default Hello out there

Hi,

My name is Nina Cole and I am the Managing Director of Nina's Nannies for Pets Ltd.

We are an award winning, family run, pet sitting company, that operates throughout the South of the country. Established in 1998, to offer pet owners an alternative to kennels/catteries.

Animal welfare is my passion and I often appear in the media with regard to the pet sitting industry and animal related issues.

Our pet sitters are mainly retired professionals, who each have excellent references, public liability insurance, NARP's registration and a CRB check.

I am also an established author on animal related issues.

Welcome aboard Nina, glad to have you with us.

It sounds like you will be a valuable contribution to our community, a business owner, author and media experience.

I've long wondered how "experts" get selected when needed for a quote or an opinion.

Guess it's establishing the right contacts and getting known as a subject matter expert. Or can I just keep hounding the Sun news desk

Hi Nina

Welcome to the forum.. I am positive this is a good way of networking with a difference. Not having the 6:45 breakfast meetings is one thing and you can meet and greet as many people on this forum from the comfort of your own home.

I think is brilliant that there are more and more people following their dream in business nowadays and doing things that they are passionate about instead of doing what they need to get by, it means that your business will succeed with all the effort you are wanting to put into it.

Hope you find the forum of use and look forward to speaking to you soon

Hi Nina,
Having got 10 cats myself I'm lucky in that I have good neighbours who pet sit when required, would never stick them in a cattery though, far to risky and stressfull...

Holy moly, do you collect them?

Guilty of having 3, and that's probably 2 too many

Funny enough, I bought the house for the cat so it could have a garden 7 years ago. Came home early one day to find another cat in the garden with a broken leg, a certain charity wanted to put her down, took her to my vets and it was also apparent she was pregnant so £1500 and 6 kittens later Then one of the neighbours were evicted and left their cats so took them on as well.... So with the annual vacinations, pet insurance and food probably do around £4-£5k a year on them lol.....A goldfish would have been the better option...
