Default Hey!

So I stumbled across this site after I saw my site being mentioned in the marketplace.

I'm a law graduate, with a bit of web develop / SEO / marketing background.

Just started a new project (one which led me here) trying to test out my skills and make myself a good asset

You can always learn and browsing around found some interesting information here so will definitely be participating when I can

Hello Arfan, I have a sneaky feeling there's probably more SEO guru's on the planet now, than there are plumbers

Haha Barney true, I wouldn't call my self a "guru" in any of the above though. More "enthusiastic amateur who knows some nuggets"...apart from law ofc...I know a fair bit about that...not guru but who knows in 10 years

In the 80's it used to be truck drivers, now its definitely plumbers

You don't need training to be an SEO consultant, just tell people you are one and con people into a 12 month contract Easy!

I suppose using the term "consultant" helps to justify the fee. Using the term "twiddler" dosen't have the same effect...

It used to be only senior Doctors that called themselves "consultants". Now a days everyones a consultant, I'll admit to being guilty, being a self badged IT consultant in my corporate days. Now I stick to the truth, tea boy and dogsbody...

I like Arfans approach, enthusiastic amateur
