Talking Hi

Hi to all members of this forum. I live in Leeds and have a greeting card distribution business. I love Phoenix Cards, I first came across them whilst looking for some different Xmas cards to the ones sold in shops. I saw an advert for Phoenix Cards in a magazine so I sent off for the brochure. I was so impressed with the selection I placed a big order, two month's later I became a Trader. The cards really are fabulous, and so what is so surprising is that they are so affordable. £1.20 per card or £1.00 per card if purchasing any 10 or more. If they were sold in say Clintons, you would expect to pay maybe £1.99 or even £2.40 per card. The gift wrap is also fantastic. The company have recently seen an increase in sales of a whopping 15% on last year, and trade successfully through a number of Independent Traders in the UK, France, Australia, New Zealand and the USA. This is one Direct Sales UK Company that is doing exceptionally well. Take a look at my website, let me know what you think.

Hello Paul, welcome aboard.

I hear alot about the extortionate prices in card shops like clintons, myself i've seen cards with a very basic design and message for up to £10 in such outlets, you're paying for the branding, like with Nike, it's all for that swoosh.

I hope the company does well and you benefit from it Allways fun to see the bigboys go out of business.

Unhappy Hi

Hi thanks so much for the nice comments, and yes I do love Phoenix Cards. Interesting Clinton Cards made a huge loss last year! Amazing I actually bought most of my Xmas presents last year from Direct Sells companies, beats all the stress of going round the shops. As Avon says shopping from home allows you to shop in your pj's, mind you I am sure there are some who will go to the shops in their pj's!

Hi Paul, and welcome.

Tee hee, shopping in your pjs... I remember when I bought this laptop, it was (at that point) the most expensive single item I'd bought online, and I was just enchanted by the idea that I'd done it without even getting out of bed.

Smile Hi

Thanks Mary. I work for Argos, they have seen an 8% drop in sales. Yet we do get quite busy in the store I work in. What I don't like is having to ask every customer 'would you like to apply for an Argos card'. Crazy when you think how much debt this country is in, but yet Retailers are encouraging more people to get into debt! Wicked and greedy World we live in, thankfully there are some of us who are good and actually care about our customers.

I love the Direct Sells Industry. Surprising what you can buy. I love Avon stuff, and always buying off Kleeneze.

Take care. x
