Hi Designs on u
I am in the process of someone designing me a website at the moment, I only started the business in April, but already I am working full time handmaking lots of different truffles all from scratch. I also make chocolate lollipops in all different shapes ie horses, cats, dogs etc. Most of my truffles are alcoholic but I also make non alcoholic ones. I think people like the idea that I actually pick the berries by hand then infuse them in alcohol for a period of time, then I make the truffles from the alcohol soaked berries. Have you got a website, you say you personalise sweets and chocolates, how does this work? Thanks Emily |

Welcome, welcome, welcome from the biggest chocoholic in the world!
Reading about your yummy chocs has made me want some - so I'm now going to have to get off my computer and do battle in Tesco to fetch some! Note to self....do not get on the scales tomorrow

Emily - love the merryberry name...and the chocs!
We have a local company who set up about a year ago, this is only my personal observation of it, not so much a 'business' observation...they are more expensive than luxury chocolate in the shops, not as nice and they're not fair trade. They seem to be surviving because they are 'locally' produced...perhaps I'm missing the point because they seem to be doing well and therefore a 'successful' business but personally I don't want to buy the chocolate because I can get better and more ethical elsewhere...but I may be a minority on that so perhaps my personal opinion is irrelevant to their business...would be interested to know your stance on this as a business? |
