Default Good Morning, Good afternoon and Goodnight

Hi all,
New to this forum so bear with me. (took me 10 mins just to find out how to post)
After working in the recycling and waste management sector for too long I decided to go alone (well with some partners).

Recycling and green issues have been more and more relevant over the past few years but for many businesses it just wasnt cost effective to buy a baler or compactor. Only the big boys would save money.

Not any more...
JBS Balers and it design partners designed a range of machines that where now affordable and cost effective to most businesses. Our Micro baler range starts from just £999 or from £5.99 per week. - cheaper than the cost of a bin.
they will:
Compact your general waste
Bale your cardboard and plastics
Crush your cans and PET bottles
Drain off any liquid residue.
All Micro balers are designed with small in mind so they can fit in most spaces and comply with Manual Handling Regulations.

Recycling and Waste reduction can now be done by virtually every business and it will save you money as well. As Landfill tax continues to rise waste reduction and recycling is an avenue we we all be eventually pushed down.

Take our JBS doorstep challenge (just made that up) and see if your business can save money on your waste costs. We can even arrange for your Bales to be collected FREE of charge. (not made up)

"Recycling needn't cost the earth"

Ps. the suns out in Manchester so best get my shorts on and make the most of it

Oi! Give me back my sunshine!

The venture sounds good. Are you operating mostly in the Manchester area at present?

Thanks all,
Interesting??? I have heard the waste industry called a lot of things but interesting probably aint one of them. It is important through.

Pressure to recycle is coming at us from all angles.
Gov't have a landfill tax that has a 20% accelerator in place for the next few years. It is currently £48 per tonne.
Most local authorities have strict targets to hit each year. My council have given me 4 bins, 1 box and 2 bags to fill.
My kids even give me ggrief on it now and again.
In fact I think most people believe that recycling is good for all. But at what price?
In my experience recycling has only ever been cost effective for larger businesses. The off licence, takeaways, pubs, small retail outlets, schools, garage forecourts and many other businesses have either found equipment too costly or too bulky for the areas they had.

Here is where our lightbulb idea came.
We looked at many balers on the market and with our design team produced a range of balers that will fit in most small spaces and at a price that would see them get a return on investment quickly.
Here comes the MICRO BALER. Prices start from £999 or from £5.99 per week.
We took off all the bells and whistles (what normally goes wrong with a typical baler) and made it small enough to produce bales that can be man-handled. Most others need a lifting trolley or FLT.

We have a network of recyclers that will collect the bales of cardboard FREE of charge and the compacted general waste can be placed in the existing wheelie bin at a compacted ratio of at least 4:1 for excellent cost savings on your bin costs.

thats it in a nutshell. the full range can be seen on our website.
We also offer every other baler you may need as well. From Micro to Midi to Mill size to Massive (technical name for fully automatic balers).

I hope this is of interest to some. The first batch is almost sold so get in quick or wait till next month.

That's what makes it interesting. It's an issue which, whether we like it or not, affects us directly; we are naturally interested in solutions to make it easier and/or more cost effective.

That and we're a forum full of information magpies.
