Alright, bit of light stress relief.
we all chat away about what we do at work, a good post is here about what we drive, or the best we have driven, good post. so what do we do away from work, the comp. so lets here your hobbies, apart from work and a computer, which are not allowed on this thread. i will go first lol ![]() My hobbie is fresh water fishing, co**** fishing. i love to fish the pole, got myself a 14.5m maver reality pole, fish that mainly, but always stick a carp rod out or two also, have 2 fishing permits, so always fish 3 to 4 rods. biggest fresh water fish, 27lb carp, biggest sea fish 39lb ling. been fishing for 37 years now since i was seven years old, great way to destress. so if anyone is up for days fishing, give me a shout sean

I'm a landie nut myself, used to have a SWB V8 90 until recently, which sounded fantastic, roared like a lion, plenty of power to weight for charging up hills, and used to do 12 miles to the gallon on the road and about 6 - 8 off roading
![]() So now driving a much more sensible Nissan Patrol, which is bombproof, comfortable, leather seats, the heater works, and you dont get wet when it rains. Still not a landie though

Ive seen a few fronteras pully landie's out of sticky positions lol. Only saying that because the frontera is in the landie world of 4x4 off roading a poor mans land rover. ![]() i think you had the better of the land rover, with the engine size. some of them im led to belive only have a 1.8 engine and have alot of head gasket trouble, probably the strain on a small engine for quite a big truck. sean

LR have had some really awful engines over the years and they are famous for being underpowered and gutless, until the TD5 and later came along and readdressed the balance.Grand Designs, now theres a program.. oh yes one day I shall build that house...
