Best bet would be to contact 2 or 3 brokers in your area, they should ask all the relevant questions and as long as you answer them all fully & truthfully then they should be able to get a quote from an insurance company in a day or 2 (least it took that long when i was doing this). They should also be able to establish what policies and types of cover you require, for example are you a simple office that just needs Employers & Public Liability cover with office equipment on top?
I wouldnt rely on 1 broker as its always best to shop around, again in my day different brokers had different schemes in place so you need to make sure you get the best policy that suits your needs.
Be aware of any fees on top of the premium although the FSA rules now mean brokers have to disclose any fee they charge in addition to the commission they earn – don’t particularly agree with that one, but that’s a separate argument.
Obviously cant give too much away on here regarding the policy cover that we have but if you want to pm me then perhaps we can have a further chat.
Hope this helps.
