Default Personal indemnity insurance.

Hi

I am a copywriter and SEO. I have been advised to cover myself now my business is really thriving with personal indemnity insurance. Can someone give me some ideas how I access this and any recommendations?

thanks,

Hi Louandel

Im a bit rusty as ive been out the insurance game for too long but I think you need Professional Indemnity Insurance. This covers you in the event you are sued for any "errs" in your work.

Best advice, pick up the fone and speak to a local broker and ask for some quotes. Also recommend you speak to at least 2 independent brokers to ensure you get a fair quote.

It would be wrong to recommended a broker on here, but I do have a contact at a firm that may help if you are struggling, feel free to PM or call me for details

Yes you mean Professional Indemnity insurance. We've just gone through the same procedure. Can be expensive, depends how much you need. We do tenders for local government depts and they always ask for it. As an approxiamation. £500.00ish will cover you for £2M.

Just sheer curiousity but are you asked for £2 million PII cover or is that your choice?
