Default Data processor

We are considering taking on a self-employed data processor, for some of our direct mail addressing & printing, etc.

Would any of you know what hourly rate we should expect to pay?

Well it is to some extent depends upon the skills set, experience of the resource and the amount of work load bore in a day.
You may inquire in your same business domain as well.

You've got two yardsticks really, minimum wage and your concious

Although self employed peeps aren't entitled to the National Min Wage, they would be mad to take any less and it's border line exploitation if they do.

The other side is the worth and value of the job they are doing. If it's fairly basic admin work with no specific skill sets and can be taught in a couple of hours, then minimum wage is probably a good guideline, or just above so they can declare and still get the same take home.

But if they are bringing a real value to the business, and there is the potential to upskill or you want to keep them for a while, then as much as you can afford
