Default Pay Per Click

Anyone tried pay per click split testing - anyone using pay per click to promote their business?

Have you had success or just wasted your money?

yep and yep

We have had adwords campaigns running for years on MLS UK, we currently average about a 40% conversion rate (sign ups).

Big fans of adwords, instant result marketing which is accessable to all.

Start off by limiting your spend, have a play, then tweak, tweak and tweak again

I have adwords also on google. The difference i have found is great. If i dont have adwords. 5 hits a day spend a £1.00 aday that increases to around 20. up to £3.00 per day, that goes up to 50+ hits a day.

i avreage 1 new customer per 500 hits i would say is the average for me. So i would say the quicker i hit 500 hundred the quicker i get a customer.

I have also kept every customer. and had good feed back after delivery off everyone. will post what i find in the relavant section, not sure which section yet lol

lol, fryed man myself

CTR is currently 1.61%

Conversions, as according to the good lord G "Conversions (1-per-click) divided by total clicks."

So of the kind folk that decide to give us a click, we bag 40% of them

Good on you Sean, sounds like your getting to grips with it!

We use adwords on both google and microsoft, with microsoft the cheaper option and better conversation rate. You need to limit the maximum bid, specially with google which always tries to maximise your spend.

Would recommend adwords compared with other advertising.
