Thumbs up Good news for UK targeted online businesses

According to an article from the BBC, the UK are Europes biggest online shoppers, spending a whopping £38bn online in 2009!

A projected spend of £42.7bn is anticipated fro 2010, with 10% of total retail sales online.

So anyone looking to start an online business in the UK, or targeting UK shoppers, then this can only be good news

and I could not agree less.
we may not have the budget of the big boys but you can still drive a hard bargain and slash your capex.

If times were hard and I did not want any competition I would say now is not the time to start a business, (If I had the nations ears, like the Dragons do)

Now back off to finish the last part of my 10k pitch to the local council!

Steve, I may be calling on you for a testimonial lol! They need Web Site, Graphics etc, and want a similar company that I have provided this for! You may just fit the part!

To be honest I think online companies can always be started if they have small start up costs, for example if you sell clothing you could drop**** making your outlay £36 a year for hosting and domain name and then the design which you could learn for free from Zen Cart
