Interesting concept, having read your "About Us" page still not clear how the concept will work in reality?

Have you had any formal acceptance of this approach from the Internet regualtors, such as ICANN or ISOC or any other authorative body?

If not, it may worth seeing if you can interlock with somebody that way to help get the concept off the ground.

so you are looking for people to work for free in exchange for just 5% equity? If so I think it's a tough sell because the equity is quite small.

However, if your budget allows for modest salary then i'd recommend outsourcing to countries like India, Philippines, where you can find decent full-time coders/designers for £300 - £500 per month and save yourself the equity.

What is the current 5% value actually worth? What has the investment actually been so far so from the oners of the current 100% or if you are putting 90% in, what is that in £££?

Remember, the dragons get very angry when they find out you havent invested much and are wanting more from the investors than the owners have actually invested themselves. ie if say I am to put in, say £10k of work in year 1, which to you is worth 5%, then do the math appropriately. I am not saying you haven't invested the 100% equivalent of the 5% worth you are seeking, but just wanted to point it out, as its common for people to want others to invest more than the owners have done so themselves, yet give little away, or, so expcect £10k of investment for 5% share, but having only invested £10k themselves supposedly equating to the 90%. It is more commn in our line of work especially.

Its CRAZY giving web designers a percentage of your business. You could get a student to do you one based on Wordpress or Joomla for peanuts.

Unless what you really need is a web developer to do somethng ambitious for you. Even then, I like this percentage idea not.
